We are already in a single-digit countdown to Halloween night. Although Halloween this year decided to land on a Monday, Halloweekend starts on Friday. Have you always been the one to get invited to a spooky party? However, this year is your wicked chance to throw the best party of the century. A great party list must include people, music, décor, drinks, and of course, food!
Match the cold and eerie ambiance of your haunting and ghostly night. Be creative with the food for all your zombies and witches to attend your party.
There are many easy ways to make food look spooky and fun. Here are a few to elevate your Halloween party this year.
Â
Ghostly Presence with Pumpkin Friends - Banana Ghosts and Orange Pumpkins
Step by Step:
- Peel a couple of bananas, depending on how many guests are attending
- Cut bananas into even sizes
- Only use both ends of the banana to create the ghost body shape
- Place two chocolate chips on each banana to make the ghosts eyes
- Peel the skin of the tangerine
- Cut out tiny rectangular pieces of celery
- Place celery cutouts at the top of each tangerine to create the pumpkins.
- Place the ghosts and pumpkins on a serving plate
- Enjoy pumpkin and ghost spirits set on your table

A Bloody Good Time Drink - Halloween Punch
Step by Step:
- Rinse the disposable gloves and fill each with water
- Tie a knot in the top of each as you would a balloon, or use a tight bag clip to hold the opening closed
- Freeze overnight
- Drain the lychees and cocktail cherries, reserving the juices in a jug
- Push a raisin into one end of each cherry, then push the cherries into the lychees to make âeyeballsâ
- Tip all of the juices, plus the reserved lychee and cherry juices, into a large bowl with the âeyeballs'
- Carefully peel the gloves from the ice hands, add to the punch, then top up with the sparkling water

A Wicked Bite -Â Marshmallow Broomsticks
 Step by Step:Â
- Get a bag of large marshmallows
- Dip marshmallows into melted chocolate
- Add sprinkles to the chocolate area
- Place stick pretzels in marshmallows
- Have a wicked bite!
Â
Casper is here! - Strawberry GhostsÂ
Step By Step:
- Melt Candiquik in tray according to directions on package
- Place a large piece of wax or parchment paper on a flat surface
- Dip strawberries in melted Candiquik Coating, remove and allow the excess coating to pour off onto the wax paper to form the "tail" of the ghost; slide the strawberry back and set on wax paper to dry
- Before coating has set, place two mini chocolate chips on as the eyes.
- For the mouth, cut off the tip of a mini chocolate chip and place on the strawberry with the bottom side facing up

Mini Draculas and Crawling Spiders
 Step by Step Spider Cookies:
- Lay 10 cookies out in front of you
- Spoon the melted chocolate into a piping bag and white icing into another, then snip off the ends using scissors
- Pipe a dot of royal icing onto the back of two Maltesers and arrange these onto one of the cookies to create the head and body of the spider
- Repeat with the remaining nine cookies and the rest of the Maltesers
- Pipe eight spider legs around the spiders' bodies using the chocolate
- Pipe two small dots of royal icing onto the heads to create eyes, then pipe very small dots of chocolate over the eyes to create pupils
Â
Step by Step Bat Cookies:
- Lay 10 cookies out in front of you
- Separate the cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, and carefully scrape the cream filling off the chocolate cookie pieces
- Cut the chocolate cookie pieces into semicircles using a small, serrated knife
- Stick a caramel-filled chocolate onto the middle of each cooled cookie using the royal icing, then use a little more to stick a chocolate cookie semicircle on either side of the chocolates to make the bat wings
- Pipe eyes onto the chocolates using the royal icing and melted chocolate
